2. Visiting this website

When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data are processed. This can include the IP address, date and time of access, requested page, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and requesting provider.

Processing serves the secure and reliable provision of the website, error analysis and protection against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of this digital service.

Server log data are deleted when no longer required for these purposes, unless statutory retention duties or security incidents require longer storage.

3. Hosting and recipients

Hosting and IT providers may be used for technical operation. Where acting as processors, they process data only on our instructions and under data-protection agreements.

Data are otherwise shared only where permitted or required by law, or where you have consented.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us using the form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide to handle the enquiry and follow-up questions. The form requires name, phone number and email; company, website and message are voluntary. Submission is protected by technical rate limiting and an invisible anti-spam field.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual measures. Otherwise processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in properly handling your enquiry.

We delete the data once the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no contractual or statutory retention obligation applies.

5. Cookies and external services

Technically essential cookies are used only for security and functionality, particularly session and CSRF protection, secure form submission and storage of your privacy selection. These essential functions cannot be disabled.

Optional services are loaded only after explicit consent for the respective category. Without consent, no Google tags, maps, external media or advertising measurement are loaded. You may change or withdraw your selection at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

6. Google Maps, Places and Google Fonts

If corresponding functions are enabled on fht24.com and you consent to Functions & external media, services from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, or affiliated companies may be loaded. This may process IP address, device and browser information, accessed content and, for maps and address functions, places entered or selected by you.

Google Maps and Google Places may display maps and assist with address input. They are integrated only after consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

The current design font is served locally from our own server, so visiting the site alone does not connect to Google Fonts. A future font loaded directly from Google servers would also require consent in this category.

7. Google Analytics

After consent to Analytics, Google Analytics 4 may be used to evaluate page views and selected interactions. This may process online identifiers, technical device and browser data, referrer, approximate location and usage events. Contact and form content are not sent as event parameters.

The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without consent, the Analytics tag is not loaded and no data are sent to Google Analytics. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for the future through Cookie settings.

8. Google Ads and conversion measurement

After consent to Marketing, Google Ads may measure advertising campaign performance. A submitted demo enquiry or click on a phone link can, for example, be counted as a conversion. Contact-form content is not sent to Google Ads.

The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Advertising storage, transmission of advertising-related user data and personalised advertising are denied by default and enabled only after your selection. No Google Ads tag is loaded without marketing consent.

9. Your rights

Subject to statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object on grounds relating to your situation to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You may withdraw consent at any time for the future and lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. For controllers based in Lower Saxony, the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony is particularly relevant.
